"I am 3 weeks post -op surgery. I am very happy and satisfied with my surgery. I wish I had seen him before as a year back when I went to consult I was not happy. So I took dr kahan appointment. He convinced me so well that I was mentally prepared to go for a surgery and now I am so happy with it. I was going through lot of problems but I am now in a good health. Thanks to dr kahan and all the NCH medical staff during my stay and taking care of me"

"The nurse at Dr. Kahan's office was really nice, but then I was told to go to his office where he proceeded to tell me that I needed surgery before he even examined me, and minimized the recovery time and said it only takes '20 minutes'. Why should I care how long it takes HIM to do a procedure if I'm under anesthesia? I went for a 2nd opinion and was given a completely different and less invasive treatment plan. Dr Kahan was also very rough during is examination and it took a couple days to heal. I did not care for his bedside manner and felt he just wanted to do surgery ($$$$)"

"I'm 2 weeks post-op and I'm very happy with the surgery results. I love Dr. Kahan he did a great job. As a patient you need to FOLLOW his instructions and FOLLOW the RESTRICTIONS. If you failed to follow them, then it's on the patient not on the surgeon. I do recommend Dr. Kahan."

"THE WORST DOCTOR EVER! He allowed his daughter to do part of my surgery without my consent or knowledge. I have her hand written surgical notes to prove it even though he denied it happening. Do not trust him. He also did not properly care for my complications post surgery and blew it off like it was nothing. Please do not put yourself in this man’s care."

"I was a patient of Dr. Kahan for over 20 years. Had out patient surgery to have ovary removed. Immediately after the surgery I did not feel well. Over the next 3 days I called the office 12 times. No return call. After I reported a fever, they talked to me. Ended up in emergency room and had a complicated surgery for a lacerated colon. Took 8 months to heal and additional surgery was required. It was a living hell."
