"My sister and I "inherited" Angela Caffey when our mother passed away in 2021. The small accounts were at Morgan Stanley. Angela provided zero service or interaction as we were considering what to do with the accounts (after notifying Angela of the passing, I never heard from her again - relegated to her assistant, Dawn). Dawn was equally disappointing, but it was not really a surprise. My mom's notes were littered with examples of the shortcomings of Dawn's service. She apparently derives personal power and pleasure from being a roadblock to the simplest of things. Example: I wrote a check from the estate account to go to cover 2021 taxes that was literally off by one penny (i.e., would overdraw the account by $.01) by accident. I read the balance including accrued interest instead of "available balance"; they were different by $.01. Dawn would not allow the check to clear until I did a mobile deposit for $.01. This after paying significant fees for little, to no, work done along the way. They followed this up sending me a physical check one day later for $.01 because the accrued interest deposited. If my "financial advisor" and staff cannot manage this - why would I allow them to manage my money? Angela's LinkedIn profile states - "I help my clients by providing a comprehensive wealth plan, a uniquely tailored portfolio, and dedicated personal service." We never got any of that from Angela. The most disappointing thing, aside from dealing with all of this and the loss of our mother, is that Angela is an Aggie - as am I. She clearly does not get what the Aggie Network is all about. I do and will make it known how bad the service is from this person."
