"I was told my first time filing with them would be free, which it wasn’t. It was around $80. No big deal. Everything was going great- great help- great customer service- over all great experience. until I got a letter from the irs saying I actually owed money. Not H&R Block’s fault. My issue is, I know nothing about taxes or the irs, my tax professional knew this. I contacted the guy who helped me and asked for help and advice. He replied with one rather vague email and left me no answers. No help. I responded normally, asking what the next step is or if there were any options, or what can I do. He ghosts me. It’s been now a few days, I have sent 1 calm follow up email. Still nothing. Like does Hr block just drop you once they’re done? Maybe it’s my misunderstanding but like really? $80 isn’t enough for you to reply to my email asking for help? Like I just needed more info. Probably won’t use their services again especially since now I know I cannot count on them to actually “help” me with anything other than the initial filing."
