"Looking for a new, fun, fine dining restaurant in St. Louis? Look not further! Mainlander is a must-try dining experience. The intimate dining area is tastefully decorated. The locally sourced menu was delicious and fun. The portion sizes were perfect, I left full but not uncomfortable. I recommend getting any of the drink pairing options, every course paired so well together. I also appreciate the all-included price up front; no tipping hassle. I believe the price was fair for the quality of service and expertly crafted meal. This is my new favorite restaurant in the city, we will be coming back to try the different menus!"

"We celebrated my husband's birthday at Mainlander last week, and OMG, it was a fantastic experience. From start to finish, Gordon was incredibly hospitable and kind, making our evening even more amazing with his excellent service. The food was exceptional—each dish was delicious, bursting with flavor, and perfectly prepared. I had a wine pairing while my husband chose a cocktail pairing, allowing us to try more options. The cocktails were absolutely delicious, especially the welcome cocktail and the 'naughty nog'! Evan was amazing - he made sure to give us detailed explanations about each drink. The wines were expertly matched with our meals, complementing each course beautifully. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall experience, with a serene bathroom. I feel lucky to have Mainlander in St. Louis – it's a true gem! I can't wait to go back!"

"The way that I think of a rating is a number of great dishes out of total. Last night 3 out of 7 were truly exceptional. The pork, green beans, doughnut dessert. The pork was tender and juicy, beans crispy and flavourful, the dessert had a wonderful balance of textures and flavours. The rest was just ok, ragoon, dumpling, oysters and Mac and Cheese were way too salty. The salad, hard to understand what was the purpose. I guess maybe to clean the pallet. The service and ambiance were exceptional."

"What an amazing experience. The food was phenomenal! I generally dislike mushrooms, but they made an appetizer out of mushrooms that I loved! We got a wine pairing and cocktail pairing because we like options. Best idea! Cocktails were delicious and different, things I wouldn’t normally drink or put together. Bartender was so gracious in bringing them out and enthusiastically explaining them to us. Loved it. The wine was also great and Gordon was enthusiastic, friendly, and knowledgeable. Everyone there seemed to really want to be there and that they enjoyed it too. That makes a huge difference. And yeah, have I mentioned how great the food is. I’m tempted not to tell anyone, because I don’t want it to be difficult to get reservations in the future, but you should really try it. Worth the price."

"Visited Mainlander and had an outstanding experience! The supper club concept is a refreshing take, but a heads up—make sure to reserve online as they don't allow walk-ins. The staff was exceptionally friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience. I highly recommend the cocktail pairing; it complements the meal perfectly. Every dish was a delightful surprise, and with their monthly menu change, I'm eagerly waiting for my next visit!"
