"Please do not get your taxes filed at H&R Block on Griggs. They are extremely unprofessional. I had my taxes prepared by Alexis. Alexis is extremely rude , and he doesn't know all the tax laws. The manager at this location very ghetto and unprofessional. I wouldn't refer this location to an enemy. I have my taxes filed three weeks ago irs's still not received my texts to this day. Going to this H&R Block location was a total waste of time and money. Save yourself a headache and do not visit H&R Block on Griggs."

"I had my taxes prepared by the H&R Block location on 5247 Griggs Rd. as I did last year. The staff is genuinely down to earth, empathetic, knowledgeable and patient. My agent Alexus K. happily guided me through the filing process and made sure I understood what applied or did not apply to me. I even observed one other agent politely help a random walk-in and explain the steps they needed to do to get the help they needed. I was in and out in no time. Grateful for this team."

"I just had THE worst experience with a representative at this location via telephone… their name was Lexis or Alexis something to that affect. I asked then if my fiancé and I needed to book a consult or if they could answer questions over the phone they stated it depends. So I proceeded to give them back ground and asked if we needed to book an appointment. They somewhat answered my questions, but I was still confused as what they were saying and the questions I asked (based in information from another source to which I needed this information for) were conflicting. I informed them I was STILL confused and was proceeding to ask questions for clarity and instead of offering for me to book an appointment (potential business opportunity as I’m sure we would pay them for their time) they proceed to interrupt me and say that although I was confused they were not and told me “GOOD DAY” as I they were done with me and the conversation. I don’t know if this person was having a bad day or what, but I was VERY POLITE and kind with my questions and like I said before offered up making an appointment if needed so they could be compensated for their time AND expertise. However they just so abruptly and rudely dismissed me. I am shocked as my fiancé when he previously called raved about how cool the employees were at this location and did not experience this type of treatment. But what I DO KNOW is that H&R Blocks come a dime a dozen and we will not be doing any kind of business with this location. Which is really unfortunately because I grew up in this community and prefer to work with people that look like me, BUT I guess to do so and be treated kindly is too much to ask. SO GOOD DAY!"
