Kingside Diner

"Food totally fine. Bloody Mary good. Airport prices. The staff were very energetic and friendly but it was a little overwhelming. One of the servers told my partner not to order what he selected because there was something better on the menu. My partner insisted that he knew what he was ordering, but the server was very aggressive in a joking manner. This was not appreciated. Especially when the server jokingly threw a menu at my face and then apologized and said they weren’t aiming at me. Not sure it matters who or what you were throwing menus at. Both of our meals came out incorrect. I ordered a burrito and got an omelet. My partner ordered sausage and got bacon. The woman next to us asked for sour cream and sausage three times over the course of 30 min and it was never delivered. It’s an airport restaurant so we don’t expect a lot, but that was an overwhelming experience. Wear a helmet if you’re dining here LOL."

"So had all the things that ruin a trip. Forgot my ID . TSA was amazing at helping me navigate that. Get to the gate with time to spare only to find flight is delayed 2 hours. Then I found Kingside Diner. Hello, where have you been in all my flying days."

"Stopped by before my flight and ordered a spinach omelette. Wow, it was delicious and full of flavor. There was some confusion with my To-Go order I made at the kiosk, and they could have a better process or a dedicated person to help with that. The manager on site could use a little discretion when it comes to employee coaching since it happened right in front of me, but Jennifer was so kind and helpful and is a great asset to the restaurant!! Thank you for your excellent customer service, Jennifer."

"I don’t use the term “Hidden-Gem” often, but that’s what this place is. Come in for the awesome music, stay for the super friendly and attentive staff, love it for the absolute bomb food. When I eat at airports I’m usually resigned to eating junk food because that’s what is there. This American cuisine is one of those spots you hope to find in your neighborhood that becomes your new favorite spot. This place makes me want to fly more often."

"I had a wonderful breakfast at the Kingside Diner inside the Lambert Airport. Jennifer was so professional with good energy. You can tell that she likes her job by how she worked the dining room. Although she was the only waitress while I was there, she was attentive to all of us. I learned that they have 3 locations around STL. I'll definitely visit on my next trip. Thanks, Jennifer!!!"
