"If I could give her zero stars I would. She was covering for my ob when I saw her. She has no sign of empathy I was 39 weeks pregnant and asked if she could have me induce earlier but she didn’t seem to care. My husband asked her a genuine question which she replied with sarcasm. She was in so hurry the moment she walked inside the room. I did not like how I was treated. Don’t see her!!!!"
"I cannot express enough how much trust I have in Dr. Mendenhall. You just know she takes the responsibility of your care with the utmost reverence. She is knowledgeable and always willing to answer a question or five!!"
"I had recently moved to the area and discovered I was pregnant with my 4th child. After researching many OBGYN Drs, I made an appointment with Dr. Mendenhall. She was, by far, my favorite OBGYN out of all 4 of my kids. She was very professional, friendly and any time I had a concern, she knew exactly the problem. I had the most complications with this pregnancy and she was always quick to have tests done to resolve/rule out. I like that she was straight to the point with me. She also called me (on a day I know she was out of the office) to let me know of a test result and that she ordered meds as she knew I was heading out of state for a few weeks. I wish I could have her as a family practice Dr because I would take my whole family to see her! She didn't end up delivering my baby, but the Dr who did (also at her office) was awesome too!"
"If I could give no stars I would. I was a patient of Dr.Mendenhall's for around four years, and had the utmost respect for her, even referring several family members to her. Unfortunately, I have had two miscarriages; one at 10 weeks a few years ago, and recently we lost our baby boy when I was 16 weeks pregnant. After I delivered genetic testing was conducted and I received the chromosomal analysis results via MyMercy. No personal touch at all, no phone call, and even the message attached to the test results by the nurse were brief and unexplained. I reached out that same day and called the office speaking to her nurse who was unable to give me any details stating "I wasn't in the delivery room, so I wouldn't know what testing was done." After this conversation I reached out to the Dr. A few days later via MyMercy thinking maybe she was unaware of the situation and again looking for answers. Over a week later she personally called me only to give me a very condescending lecture. Even going as far as saying "This won't bring your baby back." And "You just weren't happy with the test results." Which I didn't understand, because they were normal results I simply wanted them explained to me. Then she proceeded to argue with me that the nurse did call me first and was unable to reach me so that's when she went ahead and released the results online. Which is a bold face lie, because I had no missed call and no voicemail. I even looked back on my phone records, because she had me doubting myself. She even threw my mental illnesses in my face stating that I'm in the angry stage of my grieving process and "lashing out" which concerned her because of my history of anxiety and depression. This was obviously meant to belittle me because there was no sympathy or compassion in her voice only anger. I found out during this conversation that she was the one that told the nurse not to respond to my first MyMercy message. And when I told her about the nurse's rude comment when she said "I wasn't in the delivery room so I wouldn't know what testing was done" her response was "yes and that's what she should have said." I have never in my life been so mistreated and during the worst days of my life, after losing a child. Needless to say for me it's time to find a new doctor. When a person becomes so hardened to the emotional part of their job it's time to find a new occupation, because it's the patients that suffer."
"Love Dr. Mendenhall! She has been my doctor since graduating high school and delivered my first child. Seven years later she is still my doctor!"
