"Dr. Catt and her team are absolutely amazing! We cannot thank them enough for their care and support. I had such a terrible experience at my previous OBGYN office and postpartum follow ups with my last pregnancy, but with this 2nd pregnancy it was such a great experience throughout prenatal visits and postpartum. Dr. Catt is so relatable and kind. I'm so lucky to have found her to take care of me! I cannot recommend her enough."
"The best OBGYN! Everyone that works here makes you feel so comfortable and are so friendly. I always looked forward to my appointments when I was pregnant because the staff shared the same excitement with me and truly made it such a happy time. I actually feel listened to here compared to the other OB offices I have been to previously."
"It took me over a year to feel safe comfortable to post this. By all means, it's a beautiful office with warm staff. I'm sure if you're pregnant it's great. But probably not safe for any other reason. Do not recommend for issues with endo & pcos. Came in for inconsistent menstruation issues and pain from an ovarian cyst. Suggested to do no hormones and gluten free, no dairy to help with pain? Tried a few months as things then got worse. I could barely work or keep food down. My complaints of the most severe paint of my life were ignored. I showed up delirious and desperate in pain. I felt like I was dying, something was very wrong. Doctor made lots of compliments how pretty I was, how people with PCOS get bad acne and beards. Referred to my body parts as a "kitty kat" when I was in tears desperate in pain. I just nodded alone because I couldn't believe what was being said. Thinking I guess I should just d1e and be happy I'm pretty? Prescribed me to take 3 hormonal birth control pills a day for a week which drastically impacted my mood and symptoms. It was a nightmare. It took me weeks to sort out how messed up it was to have a doctor smiling and tell me I'm too pretty to have the disorder I have- while making comments about my appearance in tandem to my body parts?? I ended up having to get a second opinion. New doctor looked at my test results from AWH and was upset my symptoms had been ignored. Pushed me to schedule surgery suspecting PCOS and endometriosis. Doc removed cyst and found 60% of my insides were covered in endo cells- which again correlated with family history, symptoms, and labwork. That second doc saved my life removing the cyst before it popped. I understand people make mistakes, but this was unprofessional and unsafe behavior. I don't know what song or dance I was supposed to perform to get doc to take me seriously. This experience was deeply troubling and scary. Although this is my experience, I have to imagine many others had different. Not dismissing what I went through, but I hope this was just a fluke. Hope doctor learns to listen better in consultations so this doesn't have to happen again."
"I switched over to Affinity after my OBGYN retired. And I love this place so much more!! They’re kind, and genuinely care if there is any concerns. Susan advocated for me on so many levels! Her bedside manner is unprecedented!! We are so lucky to have Susan and her team at Affinity in Peoria!!!"
"Hands down the best, friendliest and coziest doctors office and visit I've ever experienced. Walking into the place you can tell everyone there loves what they do and who they work with and to me, that makes a huge difference when finding a new provider, especially an obgyn. They're all friendly and personable and will get you in and out as quickly as they can without making you feel rushed. I understand why this practice was recommended to me by so many people."
