"HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I cannot begin to convey the 'treatment' I received. Apt was for port placement for chemo treatment. Almost everyone that I had contact with that day was very unprofessional. Starting with the Dr. Gutierrez who asked me to sign ICF without explaining procedure (later getting upset because I asked questions). Following with RN who seemed bothered to be there, but the tech in the surgical room was beyond unprofessional. Once I was in surgical room I waited for Dr. Anekwe to arrive for about 40 minutes. All this time I was instructed not to move because are was sterilized. The tech, Eric, was rude, dismissive, and unsympathetic. Due to my condition I am not able to lie in a supine position for too long and since I was on the procedure table for almost an hour waiting, I started to have trouble breathing, which caused anxiety and eventually became a panic attack. By the time Dr. Anekwe arrived I was crying hysterically. The worse part is that when I went back for f/u appt, I tried to submit a formal complaint and Ms. Lopez, General Manager, informed me there is no SOP for filing a complain and that a "note" of incident would be filed in my chart. In my 51 years of life this was the worse experience I have had in a clinic. The staff seem very unhappy, are very unprofessional and dismissive. The population they attend to is mainly Hispanic seniors that don't question authority and it makes me sad and worried about their experiences. If I was able to give 0 stars I would have."
