Captain's Cove Bar & Grill At Starved Rock Marina

"We go here quite often in the summer. We live near Chicago but spend many weekends in Ottawa for the river and friends. I actually dream about the Buffalo chicken dip at captains cove during the drive down. It’s often our first stop after we drop the dogs at the boat. It is the best BCD I’ve ever had. Sometimes it’s sold out by the time we get there, it’s THAT good! They have great deals on drinks and the rest of the menu is really yummy. The bartenders are awesome, we have ended up getting to know the family that owns the place and they’re all so kind and love being able to serve delicious food and beverages to their friends and customers. We truly love captains cove and look forward to many more years of great buff chicken dip and giggles!"

"Looks are deceiving but park your bike or vehicle of choice and go inside you’ll dig this place. All the food around us looked great. The chicken Philly was top notch the michelada was rock-n-roll good my girls pina colada was awesome. The vibe inside is super cool . I dig this place. Sit on the patio and overlook the River what a great spot!!!!! Tavern/ cafe is the middle door up the stairs. "Went here today with members of the Joliet Antique Automobile Club for lunch. Had a half pound Cove Burger and fries. Big and thick burger done just right. Will come back here again."
