"I was referred to this doctor by my ivf clinic. After two times trying to make the appointment the first being we didn’t know both needed to attend the appointment the second she had connection issues and we needed to reschedule. We finally get on the call by the third time and we talked and discussed for about 10 mins with me and my husband engaging in the conversation. I need to run to daycare and I apologized to her for noise from garage she then states “I’ll go ahead and let your provider know that you are opting out of counseling I stopped and said huh? What am I opting out of? She states she cannot speak to patients who are driving on the phone. I said oh that’s ok I won’t drive anywhere I’ll sit on the phone she states to me you are not serious and when you are ready to be serious I can let your provider find you another counselor I’m ending the call now and hung up! Do not rely on this person to provide compassion empathy patience. She is a huge trigger and she knows this. I have worked very hard mentally financially and physically for this dream and for a professional catering to this specific issue to get on the phone with me for less than 10 min to tell me I am not serious because i was going to drive to daycare during the phone call is super triggering and a professional knows this. My husband and I called the referring doctor and they stated they have never heard negative feedback about her. Well I found her Google and I’m leaving one along with the rest of the reviews with similar issues."
"Dr. Chambliss is a very capable doctor and therapist, and our sessions generally went very well. She did quite a bit to help me in her office. Unfortunately, she discontinued my therapy after I had to cancel and reschedule a few appointments within 24 hours, saying that I should see someone who could better accommodate my schedule. I found this incredibly disappointing as Dr. Chambliss completely forgot one appointment I had with her and cancelled another with only a few hours notice. Dr. Chambliss is absolutely wonderful in sessions, but her office practices were less than professional at times. Her refusal to continue to see me, and her informing me of this in a text message, set me back quite a bit in my mental health journey. I had never been dumped by a therapist before, and certainly not in a text message. I also did not receive any referrals and had to search for a new therapist with no direction."
"I have been working with Dr. Chambliss on a professional level for nearly a year now and am so impressed with her ethics, true calling to help people and passion to work with those struggling with infertility. Dr. Chambliss has always made herself quite available for all her clients and colleagues to discuss personal and professional concerns and always provides sound advice, direction and guidance. She is VERY skilled in her profession, with lots of experience and a true joy to work with. I am very happy to have her in my network of professionals."
"Disappointed. I had high hopes and went in for a consultation. She was very nice and said we could discuss a better rate since she didn’t accept my insurance but typically it would be $170 a visit. She came highly recommended and I felt like it would be worth it either way so she squeezed me in. I appreciated it, and we went over my history. Then after about an hour, she recommended a different therapist who she thought could help me better and had more experience with what I needed. I had to pay the full $170 cash that same day and I asked if she had any advice or suggestions. She said her advice was to refer me to someone else and she’d help me find a different counselor. I appreciated her time but honestly felt worse after that experience and wish I never went in the first place. I’m shocked honestly and thoroughly disappointed and feel like I wasted my time and money."
