"It's a small staff, and we gave them an idea of what we needed to do to our zero radius lawn tractor. We discuss what needed to be done on the phone and went over in more detail when we took the tractor over. I totally wouldn't be able to get to it for a couple of days, which was fine. We went back home and put the trailer away. We were just finishing to sit down and grab a bite of lunch when they called and said that the tractor was already ready! The only bad part, we had to dig the trailer out again, haha. But overall an outstanding experience."

"I called Brookshire Mower Sales and Repair on a Wednesday afternoon. The owner was super friendly, polite and informative. He picked up my mower the next morning at 9 am, called me with a quote at noon, I thought the price was good for all that he was going to have to do, and my mower was ready by 9 on Friday. How much better could anyone be. My last mower guy took 6 weeks to determine a different mower was not worth fixing, despite numerous phone calls. To have this one picked up, quoted, fixed and returned in 2 days, was remarkable."

"I do not normally leave reviews, but want to share my experience, so that other people don't fall into the same trap. After having my mower for 2 weeks, I got called to say it was ready and the cost was $400. I enquired if it was custom for him to go ahead and do the work, without calling first and informing the customer of what was wrong, and what the cost of the repair would be. He immediately got very angry and started saying he could take everything he had done off. I tried to explain that I still needed the mower to work, but that it is custom to get a quote before you okay the work to be done. (I had some idea what was wrong and this cost a lot more than expected). He was angry and stomped around and eventually passed me on to his wife. I paid the bill and the next day the mower was delivered, complete with attitude. Not 10 minutes later I called him back as the mower was not working It kept dying He came back out ,and started giving excuses that we weren't heavy enough for the mower to etc etc. (although we've previously used the move for the past year with no difficulties). Anyway, today mower not working again.Called Brookshire and was told this time it would not be covered by warranty . So I called a different mower repair guy. He was wonderful , service oriented and knowledgeable. He had my mower fixed in 15 minutes and cost $100. He confirmed that Brookshire Mower had performed work that was not needed done, had not fixed the initial problem and had overcharged me. PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. It saddens me ,because I really do like to support local businesses."

"I do plenty of business with Brookshire mower sales & repair. They have always treated me fairly and have been very nice! My mowers, trimmers etc always get back to me at a reasonable time “mostly same day” and work great! Thank you for being of such great service!"

"Unfortunately my father (he frequently maintained his own equipment) recently passed of cancer, and my mom (who is on retired/fixed income) was to wanting to retain his old mower as she was most comfortable to using his John Deere Scotts mower. I took his Scotts John Deere riding lawnmower in for repair back in June because the belt had broken on the deck. I decided to use Brookshire Mower as sales due to approximmity.....WORST MISTAKE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After leaving it there for almost month he calls and let’s me know that because it was an older mower it had a laundry list of items that needed to be fixed, but he was willing and able to do it for a nice fee. I agreed to have it fixed cause it was an older mower (some maintenance would of course be required), and for sentimental reasons, he assures me when he was done it’ll still have quite a bit of tread remaining. He later calls me back with a higher price (678 including labor) suggesting I have the starter ($197.25) and battery repaired cause he couldn’t get it to start. Mind you that wasn’t the issue when I took it in. I agreed again cause my mom needed a reliable mower as I couldn’t be around to fix it. A month later once the mower was returned the belt breaks again. He begrudgingly comes and picks it up complaining the entire time about having to honor his warranty on he repair work. Then maybe about a week or 2 later I go out to start it and it won’t start. I charge the battery and have it taken in and found out the battery was OK. I called him to let him know I’m potentially having an issue with the starter, when he grows angry and let’s me know he’s going to charge me for picking it up. When I let me know that was unfair he then went on to say since to mower is older these things happen and I shouldn’t expect him to honor his warranty or work. This is all before he hangs up in my face. I call back only to speak with a lady on the phone who says they are not going to deal with us anymore and proceeded to hang up in my face. If you ever think to do business with this repair facility....DON’T! I had to put one star or it wouldn’t have allowed me to leave a comment....Google needs to take stars back! Worst customer service experience of my life. Meanwhile my mom is without my dad’s mower now. :("
