"$119 for service call..ok, that seems standard these days. When setting the appointment they explain that and ask for a credit card to put on file. Tech arrives, quickly sees a fuse that looks bad, types up notes in his system and tells me if it’s the fuse the total for today is $165 plus tax. After clarification, I learn that is over and above service fee. So just shy of $300 for the tech to be in my house less than 25 minutes and change a simple fuse. Not very happy with that price but worse than that is when I asked the tech if my invoice, which his system was emailing to me, would show the specs for the fuse he replaced, he said it would. It did not. Also, that invoice has a note: Credit Card Processing Fee: 3.00% Credit Card Processing Fee will be add to the total amount charged. THAT was not disclosed. They required me to give them my card number when scheduling and said nothing about an additional fee for using it. The tech did not disclose it either."
