"This branch definitely judges a book “by its cover”. My wife and I walked in a few minutes ago to move both our vehicles, camper and land with them. The loan officer that “assisted” us immediately made a comment about our clothing by saying how “comfortable we were dressed” (these were her exact words). I did not think anything of it until she gave us their current rates and emphasized numerous times to us that we would ONLY be approved if ours scores were 740 or higher even though we mentioned to her this would not be a problem. Both my wife and I could tell right away that she assumed we did not have that credit score. Mind you, our credits were never pulled. We felt extremely offended and politely walked out. What this loan officer did not know is that regardless of what we looked like on our OFF DAY, we were ready to move a total of 300k with them. I mention this because I truly hope TDECU sees this review and reevaluates the kind of employees they have in their branch."

"RACISM AT @TDECU from a non black rep Vanessa Cantu is who the manager said her name was. She kept saying “what”. When I was talking in a very calm voice very clear and direct. she didn’t tell me until after already signing a cashier check. Two weeks ago she incorrectly did a money order wrong and the manager was in the front then and she signed where I was supposed to and had to wait for them to redo! So to see she was still in the front was already unsettling. She misinformed me saying “we can not pay “who it is payable to” on cashiers checks when the manager informed me you actually can. then she rolled her eyes when she deposited my account wrong I wait 1 hour walked in w $2005 out $1995. And it’s been 3 days I called the corporate office made a complaint and check my account the 10 dollars still missing will never visit this branch! Inconvenience inconsistency unprofessional and literally you come in w less than what you enter"

"TDECU has been the worst bank I have ever dealt with. Any time we come into the branch it takes forever to do anything. The entire model of the branches makes doing anything a pain. There is often only one person working. When we have gone in to request some temporary checks it took nearly an hour because the staff member was chatting and making small talk with the person in front of my husband. Today I got a call about a fraudulent charge. The recording says to call the number on my card to file a dispute. When I called I was told the dispute cannot be filed by phone, it must be filed online or in a branch. I drove 20 minutes to a branch and was told no one was available to assist me with the dispute for at least an hour and was told to just file it online....what?!?! Do yourself a favor and get an account somewhere else. Save yourself the future headaches."
