"I am having an extremely difficult time receiving payout for my 10 year old daughter who just lost her Dad. I've done all the legal steps required. The lady's who answer the phone are very nice but it seems like the problem is with the service department. They have been holding my daughter's money for 6 months. The amount of patients I've shown has to be respected. I just eat my daughters money to be earning more than .5% The court has approved the accounts it needs to be transferred too. This company just blantenly ignores their clients needs and feels the need to hold onto funds. In an effort to honor my husband and honor the gift he left behind for our daughter, this has been really upsetting."

"I would give zero stars if I could. They put you through so much to hold onto your money as long as possible. My wife has been out of work 6 weeks, still no pay. Employers should avoid using this company because of how they will treat your employees. Absolutely appalling."

"It's been almost 5 weeks and I still haven't gotten a decision on my Short Term Disability. I had surgery in July and was out for 2 months then went back to work with restrictions then my job decided couldn't work with those restrictions. So now I had to do a whole new case and they've been dragging it along."

"This backward company has NO online tools for customers whatsoever. We had our bank account compromised and had to send them =via snail mail= a copy of a voided check. Oh, but what's this? A counter check won't do? We had just opened the bank account, and a phone call to the bank would have verified the account. Nope! We ordered $46 worth of checks we will never use, sent them the voided check AGAIN, and STILL they are not taking the premium out of the new account. We even called and spoke with Anthony when we received a paper bill, and he assured us that it was just an error and that our premium would be coming out of our new account, and not to worry. Now we have to fill out paperwork to reinstate the policy and send it via snail mail, FOR A THIRD TIME, because this company with dust and cobwebs on their IBM Selectrics with skeletons sitting behind them (not even a Commodore 64!) doesn't have a clue how to do business in the 21st century! I hope if we ever actually NEED them, they are not this hard to deal with. Unfortunately, according to other reviews, this is a pipe dream on my part. If you are thinking about purchasing a policy, I'd highly recommend you check out any other company who actually knows what a computer and website is for."
