Wholehearted Psychiatry- Dr. Stefani Reinold MD

"Went here several times a couple years ago. It’s terrible… but if you find it appealing to pay $250 for 20 minutes, just to have your concerns brushed off and be told that “medicine/treatment is a just guessing game”, then by all means go ahead. Literally no benefit compared to any other doctor, they literally will just go down a list of drugs, starting with the first one and have you come back every month to “follow up”, but they want you to try each drug for 2-3 months before swapping. It’s just set up to maximize the number of appointments you supposedly “need”, but they’ll pretend to care as long as they’re raking in that $750 an hour. Crooks. That was my experience. I would recommend finding a different psychiatrist, or just talk to your regular, family doctor about your concerns. Mine go beyond just simple depression, yet I have still had much better results doing my own research on my condition/treatment and getting a prescription from the regular doctor. It’s $50-60 bucks and my regular doctor isn’t staring at a 20 minute timer counting the seconds. If you need more than just oral medication, the regular doctor may not be an option, but I still wouldn’t go here. Try anywhere else. Support the businesses that will genuinely care about your well being. Edit: Your reply was generic, just trying to save face for your business. Actions mean more than mere words. I think there are better options, whether general or specialized. I was thoroughly dissatisfied with my experience, that’s what these reviews are for. Other people can heed my warning, or choose not to. I just would’ve liked one myself before getting ripped off."

She takes a holistic approach before trying westernized medicine, reaching for true healing of the cause, rather than slapping a bandaid on issues where it truly counts. Having moved a lot, I’ve seen many different psychiatrists and counselors. Psychiatrists typically want to medicate and counselors want to talk. Dr. R does both so well, sincerely wanting to help her patients. She listens, is positive and upbeat, and provides insight that makes me want to slap my forehead and say “YES!!!!” Though the human mind is beyond complex, Dr. R’s ability to help me discover and focus on what’s important at the core of my being (in combination with medication adjustments for depression/anxiety) has made me feel empowered, relaxed, and, yes, HAPPY!!"
