"I’ve been seeing Dr. Roy for 6 years - I really don’t understand the bad reviews. When I came to him, I was in my worst state mentally and physically. Unable to eat or sleep, lost my job, didn’t want to be alive. Dr. Roy & his staff have always been extremely helpful in ensuring that I have the right medication and have treated me as more than just a patient, but someone they genuinely care for. If I forget to schedule - I’ll often get a call to remind me to schedule. There’s reviews here that are very extreme - especially the one pertaining to racism. This office isn’t made of one culture, one ethnicity - all of the staff here are from different backgrounds and they all treat clients amazing. Sometimes, with psychiatry, you just have to find the right doctor for you. This office is the best office for me - so for those who had issues - maybe this just isn’t the right place for you. Thanks for turning my life around and for reminding me how to live my best life when I’m feeling defeated some months. I will go here until this place no longer exists."
"He is terrible don't go to him unless you want to spend a lot of money. Staff is unhelpful don't care about people"
"I have been straightforward with this office and waiting for weeks to see Dr. Roy. I kept getting a different date, which I accepted. He/is Not available for new patients and will not be. I was not notified of this until today after patiently calling numerous times. This is sad, and scarey for me. Please do not use these people and please take this into consideration."
"Stay away at all cost!!! My husband left there worse off then when he got there. He did absolutely nothing to help. And on top of all that they said they cover our insurance and at the end of my husbands appointment he said our insurance didn’t cover the appointment and said it would be $400. He didn’t even let my husband speak he cut him off multiple times and made him feel bad about even speaking about what he had been through. everything was rushed and unprofessional. I hope everyone reads this message please stay away."
"I don’t know why everyone gives Dr. Roy a bad name HE HELPED ME❣️I was a basket case when I first came to see him, I told him I was not fit for man or beast and I wasn’t! He told me that was a strong statement! My previous doctor had me on 20 mg of Prozac and 1mg Klonopin to help me sleep. It was trial and era. He had put me on some drugs trying to see if I was schizophrenic or not and I wasn’t, just was suffering from major reoccurring depression. He explained to me that klonopin was working against my Prozac. So I was taken off of Klonopin and put on Trazodone for sleeping And he upped my Prozac to 60 mg. Coming down off of Klonopin was not easy for me, I was addicted to it. The first three months was the hardest! I hallucinated! Thought that I would have to be hospitalized if I couldn’t do it on my own Dr. Roy was very encouraging to me Told me I could call his nurse at any time I needed to, her name is Angela she’s a very sweet woman! At first I did not think that the trazodone was working once again he was very reassuring and explain how trazodone worked and it would take time for my body to get used to not being on Klonopin and he was right he had started me out with 50 mg of trazodone and after three months I was up to 150 mg since then I have back myself off to 50 mg and I backed myself down to 20 mg of Prozac and I seem to be doing fine once again my body had to get used to not being on narcotics. You just have to be patient and give your body and mind time to adjust. The only thing that I can say against Dr. Roy is that he is not very punctual you can wait for hours on him at least he was like that back 4 1/2 years ago. I don’t know what it’s like now I haven’t seen him in a while but he did stabilize me and I am living a productive life today❣️"
