Reviews
"Fun train ride that takes you around the zoo through 3 tunnels with 5 trains"
"If you grew up in St. Louis after 1963 (the year the railroad was built), chances are you rode and loved this train. It's almost as much a part of the city as the Gateway Arch. There are about 5 stops around the zoo, and while riding the train you can hear narration describing the section of the zoo through which you are passing. You do need to purchase tickets to ride the train, and I would suggest doing so on your way into the zoo. Oh, and know that legroom is fairly limited! But it's worth it to ride this wonderful little railroad. Don't miss it."
