Wild Lights at the STL Zoo

"Nice family outing for Christmas season. Parking is free. Has activities for kids- story time, coloring, make smores, see penguins. Better light displays are on polar bear side, Other displays seem dated on what is available on technology and price, but still a great time."

"Rained all day and never canceled. Half the lights didn’t work or were not even on. Highly disappointed and won’t be coming back next year."

"Company holiday Christmas party was held here. Food was supposed to be available 6:30-8. I went to the buffet just before 7:30, and I sh*t you not, there were tortilla chip crumbs, queso, and a few pieces of bruschetta. Most of the pans had been pulled as they were all empty. I went home hungry and had to order an actual dinner. The bartender was terrible. They didn't keep the ice water filled. And they didn't have enough seats for everyone to sit for the presentation. If I ever attend another party here, it will be too soon."

"Yearly event that starts in late November and runs through December. Very similar to Boo at the Zoo. They block off probably 50ish% of the zoo for this. The areas open have tons of Christmas lights for viewing. Concessions are open, but many have limited options that focus on holiday themed stuff. It's a cool event. Not much to it. Just sort of walk around and look at lights. Maybe grab a hot chocolate. Recommend it for anyone that enjoys Christmas lights. Many of the animals are not out due to it being after dark and typically cold. So don't expect to see many. Parking is free in the lot. Buy a ticket in advance so you can get in easy and not have to visit the ticket counter."
