"Local Legion in Farmington Iowa. Bar, meeting hall and pool table. Only food is frozen pizza and snacks. Friendly atmosphere. Outside seating with river view. Host pool league is why I'm familier and on poker run stops during End of Summer Motorcycle Rally. Shimick State Forest surrounds town and offers camping,horse rental, horse riding and hiking trails, and photography. Is a well managed forest with 1000s of acreas. Fishing in ponds and Boating and fishing in Des Moines river."
