"Called to see if my prescription was ready. It was and the tech told us it was ready. And she told us the price too, over the phone. That was very helpful."
"Staff is friendly and communicates well. Never had any problems like I have with other pharmacies"
"They are usually out of the medications we need. They say that they are unable to get them. When we call the Meujer RX in Geneva they always have the meds we need in stock. Unfortunately, the Geneva Meijer is over 30 minutes away. The Sycamore Meijer needs to reevaluate their ordering process."
"We moved from lehans to meijers pharmacy because lehans does not use good rx. Biggest mistake! Meijers are rude and when asking about prices, our insurance versus good rx price they didn't want to help you, especially the young man.. Everytime we went in there it was always something they were not happy with us. Then I called to ask about my husband's refill status on a prescription and they wouldn't help because I'm not his power of attorney. I have been calling his prescriptions for years and I never have been asked such a question. l told her never mind I'll transfer the prescriptions, they we're making thousands of dollars on my husband prescriptions alone. The staff is condescending, rude and seems their goal is to NOT to help their costumers. Not seen anything like it. It was getting to the point I was on edge everytime I had to deal with them. We lasted about two months."
"I had my prescription for Adderall transferred here as my typical pharmacy was out. After asking my provider to cancel my original Rx and send one to Meijer, calling the first pharmacy to delete the claim from my insurance, and then confirming with Meijer that the Rx had been received and the insurance claim was cleared, I felt so relieved knowing my prescription was going to be filled in the next few days. Then, I got an impromptu phone call as I drove home, from a pharmacist named Michael, telling me that some database told him I had 15 days of meds left. Essentially, he told me he wouldn't be willing to fill the Rx until he could be sure I was completely out. When I asked him what I could do if the database was wrong, he said nothing, because he wouldn't fill it until then. When I got home I counted my meds and I had a 14 day supply- and a one day supply of my original, lower dosage. I've never had any pharmacist tell me anything like this; they've always refilled my Rx when my physician sent in the prescription and Blue Cross authorized them to do so, which is always somewhere between the 25th-28th of the month. As it happens, I have to be at work the day Michael said he would fill it, meaning I would have to go a whole day without my medication. The more I thought about it, the more our interaction made me uncomfortable. I feel as though I had been singled out and that he was treating me like I was up to something. I'm sorry that I have ADHD, I just want to be able to function like everyone else. I also have anxiety, and this kind of uncertainty doesn't help. Why was this passive-aggressive confrontation necessary? I don't know if the pharmacist I spoke to has moral qualms about psychiatric meds, if he doesn't have compassion or if he just assumes that I'm a criminal because I have a prescription that I asked him to fill; whatever the case, I will not ever go back to the Meijer Pharmacy in Sycamore unless I get an apology from Michael and a reasonable explanation as to why he was willing to put me through this."
