"I love the Sterling pharmacy technician. They are the best and make us feel welcome every time we go."
"Not from the area, tried to locate pharmacy curbside, called and talked to several employees that were rude and gave poor directions(as if i were from here) found spot and no one answered the phone listed for pick up. Poorest excuse for service ever, highly disappointed and I will not use Sterling pharmacy again. I then called the pharmacy again and asked for my prescription to be transferred because they couldn't do their job and the pharmacy tech just hung up the phone. No customer service skills at all, shouldn't have a job in that kind of service then."
"They are super nice, but really busy and I'm not sure they know how to organize. I waited over an hour for my daughter's prescription that I called in the night before and then 10 minutes at the counter while the pharmacist checked it and I got it home and it's just powder. They didn't even mix it."
"Multiple mistakes and misrepresentations. When they tell you at the order/drop off window, make them triple check be scrolling down on their screen and viewing each prescription on record. They seem to like to quickly dismiss folks? They look at the first prescription that comes up on their screen. Then simply state refills aren't any longer available. Ive had then auto fax My old doctors offices seeking authorizations for refills when I'd requested they fax the current doctor's office. Then the old doctor's office is calling me wanting to know what is going on. In the mean time my prescription is not being processed at the newer doctor's offices. And who do they all think is mistaken? Yeah, it not any of them. If that had only happened a couple times.....not such a biggie but when it's 10 or more times over a few years.....no excuses. I've told them it was just refilled xyz time and they'd say....nope, not hear....we have to fax the doctor. Then I find out that they were just wrong and had missed the new prescription. Arrrgh! This has also been fairly frquent and invariably runs into a weekend before being discovered so by the time it's been sorted out....im out of the various medicatios for several days, have had to make two to three trips to WallyWorld and generally a few phone calls and holding periods trying tomsort out something that wasn't broken. And...they have to be pre-reminded about using your discounts on file....every time and sometimes that doesn't matter either. Then you're standing around while they explain to the duty pharmacist who has to authorize a refund for their mistake. Of course that requires waiting on them to get finished doing whatever they are busy doing. Then they have to do a refund which we are required to sign for and then they rebag the same medications and you get to pay for it again. Oh! But you're not done yet! Now you have to wait in a line at the questions window so the pharmacist can tell you about the medication youve alreadynbe taking over 25 years. Why? No, it's not a law...State or Federal....it's a Walmart rule because they like to burn your time while they record the pharmacist talking to you and explaining the dangers. That's called legal CYA....likely due to somebody getting sued for something really blatant, stupid and likely chock full of neglect that has nothing to do with a standard filling of prescriptions. Oh! And God can help you if they hand you package you've paid to find that they filled the wrong prescription. They will not refund or exchange that prescription. I had this happen with over 400 dollars of insulin. I had two prescriptions on file. One was disallowed by insurance company as a non generic. Too bad! They said the law prohibited them taking any back. I failed to inspect the charges on the screen when I paid for them with my credit card and we don't get to touch the Rx receipts that are all stapled to the medication bags. And...get this! Its not against the law for them to refund on those medications. Its illegal for the to reitroduce them into the drug/medications supply since they may have been tampered with. That's very different from they can't take returns because its agains't the law. Especially when the package had been handed to just minutes before and were tightly sealed inside of the stapled packages and enclosed packaging. In this case....a package that required being opened by a peel off strip which contained further sealed insulin pens that required special pen needle tips to utilize. But I was stuck with the 415 dollar 5 pen pack of insulin. The other prescription in their files would have cost me 25 dollars. There's more but I tire of complaining about it all. They seem to find me to be unreasonable because I've corrected them. Ive insisted they look harder and further. I've demanded they not use prescriptions from MDs that I no longer use. I've had two physicians move, I moved once and 2 docs retired. But that shouldn't confuse the pharmacy, should it?"
