"I love Dr. Eugues and her team. She is so caring and knowledgeable. She knows my kids by name, not charts. I really appreciate the level of care she provides, rare these days. I noticed people complaining about insurance, here's the thing, VOTE! We need universal insurance now. In the meantime Dr.Eugues took us on when we had All Kids Insurance and I am very grateful!"
"Our son has been seeing Dr. Darlene Egues since he was 7 days old and he is about to turn 16. She is kind, professional and genuine. Her practice is run very well. I feel blessed to have been referred her."
"Dr. Egues has been our children's pediatrician for over 6 years. We love her staff, her attentiveness, and caring approach. When we moved further away we kept going to Dr. Egues because we couldn't imagine someone else caring for our little ones."
"Very kind and knowledgeable doctor. She went above and beyond for us after hours when the pharmacy gave us a hard time dispensing the prescription. The staff is also very caring and excellent. I switched to this pediatrician two years ago after having communication issues with another, and am very pleased."
"Dishonest Billing - Update: A representative did reach out to discuss these charges and explained that the work done on this splinter was considered a medical procedure, and fell outside of the wellness visit scope, thereby requiring additional billing. I appreciate being contacted and provided an explanation. I nonetheless disagree that these services should rise to the level of submitting additional billing totaling $600+. Original review: I brought my daughter in for her 18 month wellness visit, and asked Dr. Egues to look at a small splinter in her foot. After Dr. Egues poked at the splinter for about 10 seconds, she pushed it in too far in to remove. Of course, this is pretty normal for a small splinter, and Dr. Egues said it would work itself out naturally. A couple months later I noticed my insurance reflected a claim for "Surgery" and I received a bill for "incision and removal of a foreign body subq," in the amount of $295, as well as a 25 minute outpatient visit for $323. These were in addition to the normal wellness visit claims that were covered by insurance. I have not been able to get anyone to explain to my how Dr. Egues's efforts in pushing a splinter into my daughter's foot constitutes Surgery, or why they double billed the visit as both a wellness visit and a 25 min outpatient visit. This dishonest billing practice, along with unwillingness to provide any explanation leads me to not recommend visiting this clinic or working with Dr. Egues."
