"Like many people who have written in I had never used a tax consultant in my life. I have a career, a bio child, spouse, bought a house in 2021, and have a foster child. This was enough to change my mind on doing my taxes myself. I was referred to Greater Houston Consulting and Tax, so gave them a call and luckily got Mr. Gibson as my tax professional. I requested a list of what documents they need, I received an electronic list the next day. I sent in all the documentation, got a reply same day saying Mr. Gibson had received everything, and any extra documentation he needed. After trying to submit it, my tax info was rejected by the IRS for reasons that were not in the control of Mr. Gibson or myself. Mr. Gibson gave me a call, apologized, and said that some more work was needed on my part. The service was excellent already, so I agreed and said I'd wait for the necessary documentation they were sending me (all forwarding addresses and documentation for the IRS was included). I received a call 2 days later from Mr. Gibson saying he had been contacting the IRS to push through my documentation (contacting the fraud department and many other things to make sure I was not shorted) and he was proud to tell me he was successful and to not worry about anything else, he had taken care of the issue. This blew me away as I had already agreed to do the extra work, he was paid, there was no other reason for this company/ Mr. Gibson to go above and beyond for me besides professional excellence. This man and this company went the extra mile to make sure my return and tax information was completed as fast as possible. I will be returning for future tax and consulting services. Do not go anywhere else besides Greater Houston Consulting and Tax and tell Mr. Gibson you saw this."
