"Be prepared to be lied to if you hire Enrique Salazar. I hired him for the repainting of my house and cabinets. Explained to him some hinges in the cabinets were not good and would needed to be replaced and he probably couldn't find exact matches. He gave me the quote and told me he would do a beautiful job and everything would turn out really nice. I believed him so we signed the contract. Then after receiving approval from him, I bought the hinges based on the quantity he told me. After receiving the hinges, he first told me they would not work in a few places and I said that would be fine. Then a few days later he told me I would need to pay extra for installing the hinges. I told him I explained to him some hinges would need to be replaced before he gave me the quote and declined to pay extra. Then he was gone for a few days and never contacted me. So I contacted him and was told he would not come back to finish anymore. So I was left with a house with half finished work and I asked for a partial refund because the work he did was not worth how much I paid him already. Enrique refused and never showed up again. Clearly he exaggerated his carpentry skills and also the contract was worth nothing to him."
