"UPDATE. Ive been emailing customer care which is no help. They keep giving my 73 year old mother the runs arounds about her security deposit. The LAW states you have 45 days to return someone security deposit. AGAIN PLEASE DONT APPLY OR MOVE THERE. MICHELLE AND EVERYONE ELSE is a liars. She gave michelle in willow her security deposit on 9/20/2023. It is now 11/30/2023. Two months later... mother applied for willow bend on 9/20/2023. She had to pay $750.00 on 9/20/2023. deposit up front. Needless to say she didn't move in the apartment and they have yet to refund my mother her money. Sad Michelle in the office have every excuse why she hasn't gotten her security deposit back. BEWARE!!!"

"Lived there for two years and would not recommend. Be cautious when it comes to move out as the “deposit” you paid will be taken from you and this is not stated within the lease. You also are required to get a cleaning company and provide receipt upon move out or use one that Willow Bend suggests, which none of this was mentioned when signing the lease or is even listed within the lease. When my husband and I moved out in the beginning of Aug 2023 we chose to pay an outside company, provided the receipt (per Willow Bends instruction) which was given to the team and yet we were still charged with no follow up explanation. We have been waiting for weeks to hear back as to why and have yet to have a follow up. All the remaining bills you would have when moving out you don’t have a choice to use a card to pay they automatically take it out of the deposit. So out of $500 we got back $75. Not to mention, our neighbors to one side of us did nothing but harass my husband and I for the entire two years we lived three and constantly called the cops multiple times for “ noise complaints” mid day. Cops would arrive and always tell us nothing was wrong and our ring camera footage captured it all. The staff would do nothing to rectify it from neighbors end and would assume it was always my husband and I. If it had anything to do with “loud sounds, music, tv” or my dog barking (which occurred from children standing in our window taunting the dog and cat by scratching the screen or putting their fact to the glass to look into our home) the office staffs solution was to “use ear buds, and keep my dog locked up in a cage all day”. Not many people are friendly around here and staff isn’t either. We hated having to argue with everyone and your voice is never heard. Thankful for the neighbors to the other side of us who were the only nice and respectful people we had during our two year stay."

"What a Scam! After living there for just 1 year, my son and his wife had to move out because of their job relocating them. Although they followed the move-out instructions (don't patch small holes, just remove nails) and even paid the extra fee to Willow Bend for their "deep clean", they were socked with over $1000 in fees (including a brand new stove cooktop because they didn't know how to use a razor on a cooktop to remove the burned on residue AND $90 for "major drywall repair" for the above mentioned millimeter holes from the curtain rods.) Every person we talked to had a different story or excuse for the charges. We were even initially told that the $90 drywall fee would be reversed because the instructions were given were old and they don't do it "that way" any more, but would honor it if that's what was given. Guess what, Kaila told us today that she can't do anything about the fees and that the charge was for painting, not the holes themselves (funny, Kaila, the invoices and pictures mention drywall repair, not painting. I'm pretty sure that you paint in between each tenant anyway...but, nice try!). After arguing with them for the first 4+weeks, they finally found the evidence of the security deposit that hadn't been shown on any invoices prior. But, only 4 weeks after Finally providing the invoice that shows the credit from the security deposit, they are now threatening to send to collections! (Yet, the $90 is still on there, not to mention the charge for a brand new cooktop of over $500). Shame on You, Willow Bend Apartments. Why send an email with customer service contact info if there really is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE?"
