"Hotel itself was nice. Room was good. Breakfast was really good. The shuttle to the airport needs replacing, along with the driver. Driver drove that bucket of bolts like he was late to an ending blue light sale special at K-Mart. That thing rattled like it was falling apart, hasn't had shocks and strutts replaced, well, ever. The back door looked like it could fall off at any moment. Take a taxi, and live!"

"First, I'll start with the false advertisement about the indoor pool. I booked my room December 3rd 2023 and I received a phone call on December 28th from a lady that works for the hotel stating that the pool is not indoors but, is an outdoor seasonal pool and the lady was VERY RUDE over the phone. She waited weeks to call. She called on the last day I could cancel my reservation penalty free and two days before a holiday weekend. How was I supposed to find something different in less than 48 hours and for a good deal?! We check into the room and we walk into the room and there's no balcony. I specifically reserved a balcony room for my autistic husband who needs the fresh air flow. The man at the front desk was VERY RUDE to my husband and myself when I brought the wrong room situation up to him. I was OVER CHARGED for my room by over $40. The lock on the room door is broken, ice machine didn't work, Wifi didn't work very well, if at all. Elevator is scary, I don't recommend riding in it. I've never heard an elevator make those kinds of sounds. Coffee maker in room was broken. There were stains on the carpet and the bathroom sink wasn't very clean but, otherwise, the room was pretty clean."

"Ruined my new year trip!! I reserved a room with a balcony and indoor pool a month before new year 2024. I don't know if Expedia messed up or if this hotel misleads customers but this was not the room I reserved and is likely the worst hotel I've ever overpaid for. The staff was rude and less than helpful. They presented an offensive attitude and refused to address the error. The disappointment didn't stop at check in thought. The WiFi didn't work, the indoor pool was actually outside and closed, my coffee maker did not work, the hallway smoke detector had a dead battery and beeped all night, the ice machine was broken, the lock on my door was broken, the elevator by my room squeals, shudders, and would take a scary amount of time to open. I'm a disabled adult with autism and all this overwhelmed me and I did not enjoy my new year trip in Illinois. I drove 5 hours from out of state and couldn't drive back. I was unable to find a different hotel at the last minute on New Years and struggled to not have a full autistic meltdown. Worst holiday ever, it was so terrible I'm seriously likely to avoid the entire state of Illinois now!"

"Great location. It’s close to the mall and various restaurants. Getting in and out of the block was a bit confusing. Room is clean and useable. HVAC, ventilation and USB charging port were little noisy. Ask for hair conditioner at the front if there isn’t one in bathroom. Breakfast is terrible."

"The room was nice and clean. Everything seemed ok, but the elevator seemed out dated, the rug looks like it was there since the 80s. But service was excellent and free hot breakfast was a plus"
