"Amazing Property!! Amanda my Leasing Agent was the most professional agent that I have worked with across Warrenville and Naperville. I will say your Leasing Agent really says a lot as they are your first introduction to the property. Looking forward to my move in March!!"
"I’ve been living at The Marq for about two weeks so far and things have been wonderful. As a native to Chicago, I’ve been living in Arizona for the last ten years. I must say… it feels like HOME here. Our unit is bright and airy and super quiet. The neighbors/residents Ive met so far are all extremely friendly and welcoming. Sydney and her team in the leasing office have been fabulous and super responsive any time I have a question. Marcos in maintenance was also awesome and handled my two requests quickly. Thank you, Sydney and Marcos! I look forward to a long life at The Marq!"
"Great amenities, great location, always sparkling clean. The most convenient apartment building I've ever lived at whether in downtown Chicago or the Suburbs."
"Great "luxury" apartments that only feel luxury in price and number of fire alarms per month. Pro: * Maintenance is quick and painless * Design/Layout of apartment units is great Cons: * Marq on main manipulate dumb people into posting positive reviews because they link the "maintenance feedback" to google maps. You can see some of the five star reviews only comment about "fixing a door". This causes marq on mains scores to be artificially inflated. * Several power outages over a year. No explanation * Overactive fire alarms resulting in 3-8 fire alarms a month. Marq on main admitted that this is by design and won't be fixed. They also claim to acknowledge every fire alarm but that is a lie. See table 1 below * You will always be charged for something when you move. I full cleaned a stove and they charged me $100 for extra cleaning. They also charged $400 when I left for a "carpet replacement". * Deliveries can be left in 1 of 4 locations. Despite having a package room there aren't any signs or directions to the package room. This results in deliveries being left in strange places and being stolen. * Any food based delivery will have the delivery drivers go into a door that goes nowhere. Google maps will trick delivery people into going into an entrance where they will literally be unable to get to the front office or inside the main building. You will have food left in places that you'll struggle to find. * Apartment balconies provide no privacy. You'll have neighbors directly next to you for most apartments * Small "freight" elevator * Parking is tight. Pillars are in some parking spaces which will make it more difficult if you're unlucky. * Bug problem on the second floor + pool area. Small centipedes fill the hallway whenever they clean out the pool in the summertime. We had hundreds of bugs show up in our apartments. Be careful with apartments close to the pool as I think the pool might be infested. * Hallways smell like weed * Apartments hold very little noise. You will hear all of your neighbors. Better hope the upstairs neighbor doesn't have kids or a dog. You will regularly hear doors slam from the hallway and hear other apartments music/tv. * Summertime events will block the streets around marq on main making it difficult to leave or get home from work. Table 1: Here is some of the fire alarms that just went off in a month: 5/8 - 6:00pm - fire alarm - no explanation 5/10 - 2:00pm - fire alarm - email blamed kitchen smoke 5/16 - 11:00am - fire alarm - no explanation 5/19 - 7:00pm - fire alarm - no explanation"
"So far have been living here for a year. The apartment itself is nice and has a layout that is well thought out, utilizing the square footage effectively. The amenity and community areas are kept clean and are well maintained. The maintenance staff is prompt and respectful. The gym (to me) is the best part, it’s big, never crowded, and has almost everything you’d need. The package room could be more organized and sometimes packages are left all over the place (ie outside the mail room). There are only 2 EV chargers per building and I wish there were more as electric vehicles are becoming more popular. There isn’t parking for guests during business hours (can’t exceed 2 hrs). Not sure why such a rule given Lisle downtown does not have a busy or thriving scene. You can park in the commuter lot on weekends and on the street after 7 pm. As such, they charge $125 for parking per month, I think a bit much given where we are (suburbs), I would think $75 be more reasonable. They charge a water, trash, and an amenity fee (!!) separately from the rent which I think is ridiculous given the rent is so expensive. Plus if you want to block off the club room for a party, the charge is an exorbitant amount (used to be free before), which makes you wonder why there is an amenity fee. They also increased the rent by $200/month after first year, which is ridiculous."
