King Arthur Westmont Apartments

"I have lived here for 3 years now and just renewed my lease for another year. I plan to stick around for a while because not only is this the most affordable place I can find within 25 miles of my work, but the apartments are bigger than most (at least my 1 bedroom is at 740 sq ft) and they have hardwood floors. The owner/office staff are pleasant and send out maintenance quickly to fix anything necessary (although I rarely need maintenance). It is a quiet, undisruptive place to live. My only major complaint is that I hear cars driving by all night because my building is next to 55th Street. **Update: I have now been here for 7 years. This year, a new manager took over. I'm still happy to live here."

"I have lived here almost 3 years and as far as apartment living goes, this place is great. You can't beat the price and all that is included. The community is safe and friendly. The staff is super accommodating and professional. Especially Linda. The pool in the summer is a great bonus. This is the cleanest place I've ever rented."

"I have lived here in a very generously sized studio apartment since 2016 and I have a hard time thinking of any complaint I have with it. I haven't needed any maintenance since moving in, but for the little issues that one of my neighbor had a few years ago I know they respond extremely quickly and resolve things just as fast. The management are all really friendly, pleasant people, and every interaction I've had with them has been great! The rent is the most affordable of any of the apartment options in at least a 20 mile radius, and even with the tiny increase of $15 over the years remains the most affordable. I love having the hardwood floors, and for a studio the way it is laid out makes it feel just as cozy and well put together as any other apartment with bedrooms does. Neighbors here are helpful (had to jump my car once and immediately found a friend to help me out) and I never hear them while inside, but they'll always say hello when we pass by outside coming or going. If you are looking for a great place to live that's a tremendous value as well, definitely snatch up an open apartment while you can!"

"We have lived here 3 years and we are sad that we have to move! The staff has always been extremely friendly and helpful. They always return my calls as quickly as they can and seem to really care for their residents. Maintenance issues have always been addressed immediately. The apartments are simple, very well maintained, spacious and comfortable. The community is quiet and peaceful. It's hard to find a place so highly spoken of and so affordable."

"This place is great and frankly I think its cute and has character. I have been living here for just over a year and I have even recommended it to friends who are looking for an apartment. The rent is very reasonable and the property is is pretty well maintained and is always clean. Most units have hardwood floors and are pretty sound proof. For the most part the the apartment complex mainly consists of middle aged and older people which means its pretty quite most of the time. Regardless, the one thing I don't like about this place is that the washer and dryers in the basement are relatively small and cost a $1.25 to use so its a pain in if you got a lot of laundry to do. However, there are a lot of laundry mats in the area so its okay."
