"Lease for one year is almost up and I've gotta say there has been almost no problems. We live in the 2200 building and it's always quiet, neighbors never complained about too much noise (that I know of. I work afternoons so my free time is 1am to 8am.) and our upstairs neighbors were only heard occasionally during the afternoons. The public grill/pool is well kept, and well used. The maintenance team is great. Chill guys, always willing to talk and let you know whats going on and when. Always coming on the next business day when a work order was put in. The ladies at the front desk are very helpful and nice. Very accommodating reception. Id say the only major complaint I have was mail, and it's not the complexes fault. We've had to go get our mail from the post office, have had food deliveries (Hello Fresh and Factor) delivered to the wrong building entirely and ruined because we didn't realize they were delivered yet. Parking at night could be better, but it's not the worst. Just have to walk across the lot, and I have the worst time trying to park coming home from work at 1am so my experience may be different. Overall I'd absolutely live here again. Personally, I think it's worth the price. Right by the highway, right by McDonalds, great area and never felt anxious or threatened, nervous, worried for my smaller sized girlfriend at any point. I never worried about her wanting to go for a walk with the dog or take the garbage to the compactor at any point in the night. It was such a breath of relief."
"The maintenance guy was really good and he took care of my request within short period. I appreciate how he kept checking if we are okay and satisfied.Thank you so much"
"I have lived here for a little over two years now! :) and I have overall been very pleased with Village Place. Of course there is always a few things that can be addressed at an apartment complex, but where hasn’t there been. but 95% here at VP has been great!!! :) The maintenance staff and management have been wonderful!! Always kind and attentive and quick to respond to requests and issues! They all have been a blessing! I’m on the top floor and I love it! My place is cozy and spacious at the same time! .. I love the amenities, trails etc. It has been a joy to live here! . … if I had to make a concern or complaint..(which I hate to do :/ ) it would be the smell of marijuana strongly in the halls at times, coming from inside the apartments, It gets quite nauseating. Sometimes I feel some people aren’t as considerate to their neighbors. .. and the other thing would be parking… at night coming home from work and there is not a lot of options to park but when I do park down a ways, I see some people parked illegally in spots and I find that unfair , if all of the rest of us park in regular spots even if we have to walk far. But overall it’s a slice! ;) *Thank you to the staff for helping make VP a pleasant place to live! Appreciate ya!! :) God bless! :) ~ Brynn"
"My experience with VillagePlace has been great. The girls at the front desk are helpful, attentive, and kind. They answer any questions I have, and try to help with any issues. The maintenance is so fast to reply and take care of any requests as well. The unit was clean and spacious as well as touched up when we moved in. Parking spaces are nice and big ! Only downside is it fills up fast at night and people seem to be parking by the garages on the side. We love the pool, its quiet and clean. The dog park is nice, but people need to clean after their pets on walks and there too. My only complaints are that we can hear our upstairs neighbor walking around, loudly, like they are stomping or running, not sure if this is something because the flooring is thin? (we are a bottom unit) We also get very strong smells of marijuana into our unit occasionally (not from the decks or patios). We know it's legal, but we don't like the strong smell inside. We have complained , but I am not sure they can do much about it even though it's in the lease."
"I lived here for an year and was very happy with the place when I moved in. The apartment was brand new, only 1 of the buildings was completed and there was no club house yet. We were told the club house would be build and open in a month which was December 2020. That did not happen. The club house was open in September 2021 and that's just the inside area, the outside area with the pool was not finished yet. So we were advertised amenities but didn't get to use them at all. We were not compensated for that. The buildings walls and floors are so thin that you can literally listen to your neighbors conversations and hopefully you don't end up under an apartment with small kids. We couldn't get any sleep in the first 4 months until the family moved out. During our stay here of one year, 3 different people held the maintenance position and the first 2 of them were not very good at their job. The main issue these apartments have is that the AC and heating are not working the same in all of the rooms. One of our rooms which was bigger would always be colder or warmer just as the system is set up but for some reason the smaller bedroom could not reach the temperature that was set up. Which makes no sense. The frustrating thing was, the 2nd maintenance technician that came by to fix the issue, started giving me a biology lesson about how the body temperature is affected by the room temperature and it's not the systems problem but my body's temperature is off. He was really not good at his job. Since the heating and cooling system is bad, after we moved out, all of the wall areas that were exposed were darker. Also, their balconies are not isolated so if you neighbors above are watering their flowers, expect to have your balcony furniture ruined. I even had hard time getting ahold of someone in the office towards the end of our lease since they didn't respect the working hours."
