"I moved in Westwood when I was studying my masters in SIU. This place gave the right amount of peace and quality I needed to focus on my studies. It's such a fine place for student since I was one. It's clean, has parking, and the management is fine. No complaints at all."

"I lived in a spacious studio apartment at Westwood Apartments and my experience here is nothing short of amazing. This place is located in a very quiet, peaceful neighborhood and is very next to Carbondale reservoir & park. David Miller, Landlord for the apartments was very helpful and addressed maintenance issues on time. This place had ample space for parking cars and I never ran out of parking lot for my car. I would definitely recommend this place for working professionals, graduate students, seniors or anyone who is aiming for budget apartments and a great living experience. 5/5."

"Overall pretty good experience. Landlord makes sure to take of any issues as soon as he can. It is a fairly quiet location most of the time, never any parties. Ample amount of space for a studio and very well priced. Refurbished rooms have very nice wooden floors and newly updated bathrooms. Taking care of the lease was easy, over email and mail. Was a little disappointed in the deductions to the returned security deposit. I was told that small holes and 3M strips would be okay, and got charged for the little amount of damage they caused in my unfurnished room. I also got charged for range drip bowls that were already rusted when I moved in. All of that seemed a little unfair and excessive. Overall it was a very good living experience. Be warned, there is an unpleasant tenant that lives on the first floor facing the parking lot. He is very aggressive toward ANY and ALL noise made outside his window at ANY time of day. Was difficult to start my car some days without hearing a comment or getting barked at though the window."

"Excellent place to live! I lived there for one year while I worked towards my Master's. Westwood Apartments is an extremely clean and quiet apartment complex with the complements of living in both and urban and rural area. Only feet way from local markets, gas, school, and fast food this place is ideal for single bedroom and studio living. The studio apartment I was in updated recently from ceiling to floors and was extremely energy efficient (especially during the winter). I give a 5 out of 5 rating because this place earned it!"
