I felt totally comfortable which does not usually happen at the Gyne. Very knowledgeable about menopause which not a lot of doctors are and they aren't very concerned with all that goes along with it either. I would recommend Dr. Tart to anyone but particularly to those going through menopause at any stage."

"I had zero problems coming here prior to pregnancy and didn’t mind my annual gynecologist checkup. However, once I became pregnant and started seeing the rotation of doctors, it became extremely unpleasant. The doctors are informative and straight-forward, but not AT ALL on the same page. I was thrown between four doctors within a month because I was continuously told “we’d discuss an IV fluid therapy referral at my next appointment”. Being prescribed anti nausea medication with awful side effects and risks that all four doctors had differing opinions on was when I realized the care provided to me was ridiculous. This was AFTER I ended up in the emergency room TWICE for IV fluids. I was told to schedule with a doctor three times for these fluids to be done through insurance/scheduled through an office, and every single appointment they told me someone would be in touch with me the next day to set it up. However, the communication at this office is also terrible and they take days and days to get back to you via phone call. Nobody informed me that I was diagnosed with HG, THAT THERE WERE KETONES DETECTED IN MY URINE, OR that I had lost 10lbs within the 3 weeks of pointless appointments. I demanded my paperwork to switch OB-GYNE providers and this is when I discovered this information because they also take AT LEAST 7-10 days to upload any documentation into the outdated website chart. They will have zero issues charging your insurance for any and every reason possible, but they will have an issue answering the phone at any point in time unless you call 10-20 times in a row in hopes someone picks up. Leave the voicemail though, they will get back to you in 2-4 business days! Once I decided to make the switch to a new office, they had me fill out forms to legally share my info (understandable), and claimed to have faxed it to the new office TWO DIFFERENT TIMES when I asked why it was not sent over yet. My new office ended up calling and requesting them, to which the receptionist at the new office called me to inform me that she had received my paperwork after calling and that the woman she spoke with over the phone was very unpleasant and blatantly rude (which is also normal for OB-Gyne Associates of Lake Forest). I’m very happy I decided to switch providers because the care I was receiving was extremely inadequate. I would not recommend coming here if you have the option. Edited to add— I highly recommend reviewing YELP reviews regarding this place as they are more much more accurate."
