"My daughter had an awful time in the adolescent program. Her first day there she fell asleep during group. They separated her from everyone and had multiple people tell her she was disrespecting her peers and the staff. Their attitude toward me when I questioned it was like - did you hear what happened or that is the protocol. No one asked if she was feeling okay at all. She woke up the next morning and had gotten sick during the night. I told her I would take her to the doctor’s for a Covid test. She was sobbing because she didn’t want anyone to be mad at her for missing program. At the doctor’s appt the doctor noticed her throat was red and decided to do a strep test. Sure enough she was diagnosed with strep. No one thought to apologize to her for calling her disrespectful."
