"Beyond DISAPPOINTED with this place. The so called health care workers here NEGLECTED a SENIOR CITIZEN WAR VETERAN who IS wheelchair bound. The building that he resided in became infested with bedbugs starting on the 2nd floor and unfortunately making their way into his apartment located on the 4th floor. He was NOTICEABLY being BITTEN and then SADLY his apartment as well as himself were taken over by the bedbugs. NOT only did the staff treat him horrible as I'm sure anyone having to deal with this situation would be DISGUSTED and that's NOT my issues with this health care center and it's staff. My ISSUES with them is that they NEGLECTED to ADVOCATE for someone who is HELPLESS and VOICELESS. WITHOUT a doubt the doctor and staff KNEW about his SITUATION as they REFUSED him access inside their facility. The doctor and staff made the gentleman wait OUTSIDE and the doctor came outside to talk to him. That being said CLEARLY the doctor couldn't properly examine the gentleman Which AGAIN I WHOLE-HEARTEDLY agree with the measures taken by the staff took to prevent it from spreading and becoming contaminated themselves. The health center ALSO had a home health care worker come out to his residence and the home health care quit the same day. AGAIN I'm not DISAGREEING with the home healthcare workers refusal to work in that type of environment. WHAT I am disagreeing with is how no one, NOT ONE SINGLE person from this so called health center who are a MANDATED REPORTERS and are required by law to report the NEGLECTE of this poor gentleman and his deplorable situation. WHY didn't anyone in this health care setting ADVOCATE for this poor gentleman? WHY weren't the proper channels taken? THANK God MONTHS later my mother crossed this gentlemans path and got involved. The SAME DAY she REPORTED his situation to the city a social worker came out and REMOVED this gentleman from his situation. It SIMPLY took ONE SIMPLE phone call that CLEARLY the staff in this so called health care center felt was BENEATH them and REFUSED to do. YES, I've made SEVERAL phone calls to this health care center and of course no one knew of the situation, because it wasn't reported and SUPPOSEDLY it's being looked into which I HIGHLY DOUBT as clearly NOT ONE SINGLE person from this health care center who came across this gentleman and are MANDATED REPORTERS, some even taking an OATH to care and protect CARED ENOUGH to make ONE SIMPLE phone call. For the record neither my mother nor myself knew this gentleman beforehand. It doesn't take much to be a decent human being and the staff here at this so called health center took it upon themselves to LOOK the other way, NOT get INVOLVED even though by LAW they are MANDATED REPORTERS and are SUPPOSE to HELP those who are VOICELESS and are CLEARLY in need of HELP. ESPECIALLY a SENIOR CITIZEN who is a DISABLED WAR VETERAN. DO BETTER."
