"At first, I didn’t feel that great about my appointment with Dr. Yaffe because of the visit being short and him forgetting to ask about my carpal tunnel symptoms (I also have a ganglion cyst in the inner wrist), but then he called me immediately afterwards to clarify my carpal tunnel concerns, so I now feel completely satisfied. We’ll see how the surgery goes, but I have full confidence in Dr. Yaffe’s abilities and I appreciate his full, detailed explanations. Update: went down from 5 stars to 3. I recommend Dr Yaffe as a surgeon because the surgery went well and my scar is teeny tiny and hardly noticeable. Not too fond of the surgery center though. You are like cattle being rushed in and rushed out. One more thing: Dr. Yaffe recommended carpal tunnel surgery to me in the follow up phone call after my initial appointment. I am glad i didn’t listen to him because the removal of the cyst in my wrist solved my carpal tunnel issues completely. I felt like that was a bit of a money grab and carpal tunnel surgery would have stopped me from being able to type at work, would have required much more time off, much more pain, more money and possible complications. When you have a large cyst in your inner wrist, wouldn’t you think removing it would reduce pressure on your nerve? Well, it did."
