"Front office staff was great with reception and then bringing me through all the pre-tests; Optometrist was very good walking me through all the eye sight evaluation process and then explaining all the eye scan images and the state of my eye health and sight prescription changes; finally the eye glass ordering and maintenance staff were friendly , professional and efficient in both helping place my order for new eye glasses and performing maintenance on my current eye glasses."

"I would like to be able to recommend Grayslake Eyecare as I found the office welcoming and the Dr. professional, but our experience has been that they prioritize financial gain over patient care. My daughter had an eye exam and fitting for contact lenses in late July. Being new to contacts, she experienced challenges with inserting and removing them and the optician was not able to provide sufficient guidance. After watching Youtube videos and practicing at home, she was finally able to do this on her own. At that point, I called to schedule a follow-up to order the contacts. I was told that because it had been over 3 months, she would need an another exam and fitting, which wouldn't be covered by insurance. I was never informed of this time limit on finalizing the prescription and I feel the requirement for an additional exam/fitting is purely a way for the practice to make additional money. We'll be going to another optometrist in the future and recommend you do too."
