"I loved living here, so much. I loved the apartment, the community, the view. I never had any issues. Unfortunately, I have been in an on-going mental health emergency for quite a while and I was evicted for non-payment. Completely my fault. Everyone was really kind to me through it. I moved out a week or so ago. While I was moving, I had a package in route. Inside that package were $400 worth of luxury beauty products. I had been saving points for a year to get those products. The day after it was delivered, I sent an email and never received a response. Today I went by the apartment, no package. I went to the office where they looked and said, "No. We don't have it. Sorry." All the big doe eyes in the world will not make me believe that delivery made it to my front door EVERY month for 7 months, but this one...magically disappeared? Honestly, stealing from someone that you already know is going through their lowest point is so gross and I am SO disappointed. Not only did someone steal $400 worth of product from me, but I can't get the points I used back. So par for the course for me lately."
"Angela helped out my roommate and I! She was super attentive and was eager to help us when she could. Her communication skills were great and she’s part of the reason we decided on Metro and 5th!"
"Being a woman who lives alone and finding out from google reviews that my complex had a murder occur wasn’t on my bucket list for the new year but unfortunately, it isn’t surprising. When I first moved here, I thought it was going to be great. I dealt with neglect, racism (arguing with a maintenance man who took one glance at me and told me i didn’t live here, and refused to look at my ID) and other disheartening encounters. However I will say that after advocating for myself nonstop that management did something about it. But the negative comments are not wrong, they are very neglectful, and finding out that there was a murder from Google reviews instead of proper communication is disgusting. The apartments raise prices every year and while other places try to accommodate you, they don’t. So to conclude my review, it started off very rocky, and then Angela handled it. However you’re just a number to them so they will increase your rent significantly each year which either forces you to move out or drown yourself trying to pay rent. I’ve talked to my neighbors and I heard that they used to be very people friendly/oriented. Now all they care about is money; money, money. As if we aren’t already in a recession and people are struggling."
"Every 1 star review could reflect my opinion of this place and management. I know you might be thinking “maybe I can live in this great place and save until I’m ready to buy my own home” and I’d tell you to just buy the home. Multiple days/separate occasions without AC in the middle of summer, dishwasher broken upon move in and not fixed for a month, a murder that was hardly acknowledged, 1 resident was strung out and always just walking around for the year we were there, dog waste not being picked up all over the property, and the worst possible communication of a management company unless it was a question about a payment. Management seemed to always blame maintenance and maintenance always spoke on the lack of competence in the office. The best decision I made was moving out EARLY and paying the bills there and my new home."
"Where to begin. My fiancé and I just finished up a year lease at Metro and the place will NOT be missed. The only time administration/management had proper communication was when it came to them letting us know our water was being shut off for an extended period of time or when they wanted money. Getting in contact with them is a hassle as they have different phone numbers listed all around their site/email/ and payment portal...not to mention most of the numbers listed are not even in service. Best way to communicate was to send an email where if we were lucky, would receive a response days later. Upon moving in we immediately were in touch with maintenance to fix a broken dishwasher followed by NO AC during the hottest parts of summer. We went a week with AC not working properly and had to submit numerous tickets with maintenance as well as contact the office to try and get it fixed. Meanwhile, our electric bill was sky high because of it constantly running to try and cool down the place. I sent a very concerning email to one of their managers Angela about how I was not pleased with how the situation was being handled and received no response in return. There were also a series of serious crimes that took place while we rented there with barely any contact from management. (A murder was referred to as "an unfortunate incident".) If you want your vehicle broken into or people on drugs living next door to you then this is surely the place. With the amount of money you're spending here, there is probably a better option. Good Luck."
