"I was hit by a softball- line drive in the left shin- at the end of May ( 5/24). The raised bruise was not going away about 5-6 weeks later. I went in to see Dr. Bonaminio on 7/2/22. He immediately diagnosed the injury as myositis ossificans (sports injury) which is a form of compartment syndrome- a very serious injury. Dr. Bonaminio eliminated the raised bruise by getting rid of several blood clots and a hemotoma that had accumulated. In the process, he saved me from an expensive surgery that would have occurred if I hadn't of gone in to see him. I would never hesitate to recommend Dr. Bonaminio. He is a very professional, personable and caring doctor who has provided expert care to myself and my family for many years."

"Lake in the Hills Podiatry has the best staff ever!!!!! Kudos to Kristin and Kaycee at Lake in the Hills Podiatry. My hubby and I had an appointment on 12/07/21. I need to use a wheel chair to transport my hubby into the Doctor's office. I could not get my truck gate to open to get the wheel chair out. Kristin and Kaycee tried to open it and would not budge. Kristin came out with a desk chair on wheels and carted my hubby into the office. We were both so touched! Words cannot describe how appreciative I am. Our family has been seeing Dr. Bonaminio for well over 10 years. When I got home I teared up. My hubby has been sick for over a year and it is such a job to get him to and from Doctors appointments. Best surgeon and staff. I highly recommend LITH Podiatry!!!"
