"We were referred to this location for assistance with pet. It is important to say we did NOT book an appointment and this review is ONLY based on their booking process which we declined. 1) They are booking out for April. It's currently December. Understandable. 2) They have a "hopping" cancellation list. This is my description of how they explained it. It's likely you would get in earlier. 3) We decided to book, but then declined to complete booking when told we were required to put a credit card number on file that they will store in their "secure server". We do not do this as there's no such thing as a secure server in our opinion based on our knowledge and experience. With that said, we were happy to prepay for the initial visit to hold the spot. This was not an option. We also offered to store our care credit card as an alternative but they do not take care credit as an option like most other veterinarians (also understandable). 4) Without storing our credit card information, we are not a candidate for care for our pet. We felt this was a shame as he does need the care. 5) We did advocate for alternatives to be discussed with the clinic owners citing our prior training and experience in data security and the risks one data breach could cause both for the clinic and clients and hope for alternative options. We hope this will be considered so future clients who are protective over their financial data can also receive care at this facility for their pets. Hope this can be helpful to others. I gave 2 stars because the receptionist was very pleasant overall."

"I am at a loss for the right words to express how grateful we are to Dr Florsheim and the staff at Veterinary Behavior Solutions. We were completely adrift in our efforts to love and care for our dog Lainey, a rescue we had recently adopted. If you have never experienced an animal who is terrified 24 hours a day you can’t imagine the pain and despair you and your pet feel. I had no idea that this was even a possibility, having always had ”happy” dogs! We assumed transitional difficulties when we brought Lainey home, but we were sure with all the love we had for her eventually she would see she was safe and her past experiences might fade away. After several months of trying , giving her security, love and a peaceful environment we could see Lainey was no further ahead adjusting to our home , we did not know what to do or where to turn. We were desperate for help and were grateful when our neighbor as well as our veterinarian suggested we contact Dr Florsheim. The incredible staff at Veterinary Behavior Solutions did all they could to get Lainey in and from that day forward we felt relief that we were on the road to helping Lainey. I consider Dr Florsheim a gift, her dedication and care for struggling animals AND their owners makes her nothing short of an angel, we are forever grateful to her. She was there for us every step of the way, we can never thank her enough!"

"I have a giant breed St Pyrenees that has restraint issues. He becomes very aggressive when he feels threatened or restrained. Dr. Buffington took the extra time required to sedate and treat my dog. Dr Buffington understood the animals behaviour and treated him as well as referring him to a behavioural treatment specialist. Yesterday my St Pyrenees had a baby rabbit in his mouth, I was very shocked to see him put the baby on the grass making it obvious he was only protecting it from my Great Pyrenees female. The baby rabbit was reunited with its family of many under my storage building. Proving he has a gentle nature and just needs training for his restraint issues just like Dr. Buffington said.
