"We have been visiting Dr. Johnson since the birth of our son 6 months ago. She is empathetic, knowledgeable, and we appreciate her pragmatic approach to any questions we have. Early on she caught an issue in our baby’s bloodwork that had been missed when we were discharged from the hospital and she reached out to us after hours to raise her concerns. It was the type of situation where her early action likely saved our son from more serious complications. It meant the world to us that even while she was on personal time, something in our son’s charts didn’t sit right with her and she took the initiative to review again. We also find it helpful that she is in a similar stage of parenthood as us and is navigating many of the choices we are working through herself. This isn’t necessarily a qualification for an excellent pediatrician, but it certainly has helped us build trust in the doctor/patient relationship knowing that much of her advice is based on real world experience alongside medical expertise. We have had a great experience with Dr. Johnson so far and look forward to her care as our son grows up!"
