"I was marked as a no call/no show because I called less than 24 hours from my appointment to tell them my transportation could not take me. I could have not called at all and just not shown up. In what manner of morality can people be penalized for something that is out of their control? I was told it is "wasting the doctor's time". It isn't like they will lose business since they were scheduled 2 months out. I will be taking my business elsewhere."

"Of all the MEC, Benton is by far the best. Friendly staff, very professional, the Optometrist is amazing and the eye doctor is as well. I will not go to any other MEC, Benton is five star and above. Would drive several miles to go to this one. Exceptional."

"The West Frankfort store ( which is wonderful) referred me to the Marion store. The Marion office staff did not do their job and the laughed when explaining that it would be another week before I could be seen ( the day before my nieces wedding). I called the West Frankfort office again, they got me into the benton office. The Benton office was very professional, had everything clean, and all paperwork in order. I was very impressed. Could you imagine needing that sore area needing to come off your eye and all that bruising a day before a wedding."

"I love Marion Eye Center. The girls that work in the office are sweethearts. I go to the one in Benton, Illinois. But they are all good. I just had a cataract removed at the Marion Eye Center in Mt. Vernon. Dr Amad is great...did not feel any pain. I can see 20/20 with that eye. I have worn glasses for 65 years. It is a freedom I have never known. Thank you all at The Marion Eye Center..."

"Great place. Friendly staff and affordable glasses. If I have any trouble at all I know I can take my glasses in and have them looked at and fixed in a timely manner. I really recommend this particular eye center. My One issue is they are slow with appointments. It seems takes forever to Go back and see the doctor. It isn’t enough to deter me as they are busy a lot but they lost a star over it because I feel as though they could move along a tad faster. Still a great place all around."
