"With just two visits with Mona Smith, I was utterly disturbed by her interactions. She made it clear she had no interest in listening, she cut me off, hurried me, and undermined almost everything I said. I recently brought my toddler in due to a persistent and lingering cough. I asked her three times to have a look at her throat as her tonsils appeared red and enlarged. She said her strep test was negative… she didn't even give her a test. The third time I asked her, she finally did so and condescendingly said, “They are tonsils...”. This was just one of the remarks she made in the brief time we interacted, less than 2-3 minutes in total. I've never written a review before, but I feel this deserves attention and I imagine this isn't the standard of care that Hometown Ped’s would be ok with. I was a bedside nurse for 15 years, and I generally expect to behave with kindness and compassion. A little bedside manner goes a long way. Something tells me I'm not the first to review as her schedule for next-day appointments was fully open."
