"New owners seem nice but that doesn't change the people that live here most don't work so it's hard to sleep if you do, the music and the screaming are constant and all the kids run wild all hours of the night in the summer so you can never open a window and no one cares if you try to do something about it"
"I lived here with my mom for 7 years while I was in school and it was okay until the last 2 years when they couldn’t keep a maintenance guy, property manager, and they couldn’t repair a cracked window or damage from the apartment above in bathroom for over a year even after we had told them about it several times!! Then after we moved out they want my mom to pay almost $3000 in repairs because they never finished fixing the bathroom area that I have said above!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!"
"Dont rent from them maintence sucks and management is piss poor wanna give notices of late rent when wasnt late city of dewitt is up there citing them at least 2 times a week for violations tons of cops up here over same tenate nothings done and drug deals and whole apartment complex smells and reaks of weed smell call and complain to emma and also melissa about it there response is nothing we can do about the drugs and drug smell quote from manager just turn a fan on in ur apartment if it gets too strong stay away at all cost"
"Very very very shady business... Everything was going fine .Then we were givena different move in date and I asked if there was an apt that would be available sooner and that prompted her to want to mail us back our deposit. I never came off rude or anything but now she's going to mail it. For some reason I'm doubting I will get the deposit back ."
"I wouldn't even give them one full star, but I have no other option. My roommate and I were looking to move in the the apartments and applied and put down a $200 deposit in early March. I had to keep calling them to see if our application had even been reviewed. Finally we heard back from them in May. This was after calling on a daily basis for 2 weeks. They said we could look at an apartment that they used for viewing purposes, and that every apartment looked the same. They set a move in date for us. That day came and went with no response from them, they said they were still missing some info from us for our application (like they couldn't have said something months ago when we applied?!?) and re-set our move in. Finally it was time to sign the lease, they made us sign the lease before we even got to see our apartment and come to find out the place was missing drawers, blinds, window screens, the smoke alarm was yanked out of the ceiling, the bathtub and sink were full of hair and there were wet clothes laying on the bathroom floor, just to name a few things wrong. Then when asked about it, they said they could hire a cleaning crew. My roommate had moved her things in and had been there a week after cleaning for days straight, and I decided I needed to help the people that were letting me live with them. Their father had committed suicide, and when trying to explain to the manager that I couldn't stay, she yelled at me saying it would stay on my credit and that you simply cannot break the lease, and that sometimes people do things that we don't know why but we have to deal with it (talking about the suicide). She then asked me if my roommate would then be staying and making the $500 rent alone. Of course not. I tried calling their managers in their corporate office to see if I could get the deposit back since the circumstances were messed up and since we had to clean so much and didn't get to see the place before signing the lease. By the way, each time a manager was not there and I was told they'd call me back. 5 times. Still haven't heard from them. It is almost August. I would NEVER recommend moving here, not even to my worst enemy."
