"The best place in Denton for legitimate, traditional martial arts training. Good people, great teachers, self-defense that works."
"This is one of my favorite dojos."
"Love and miss everyone at The Dojo. Spent close to 20 years studying with Jack and everyone else. Top quality instruction offered in each discipline taught here."
"I started training in Uechi-ryu Karate here in August of 2014. I had 15 years of experience in another style of Karate and I was welcomed in and its here that I really feel like I started to truly learn Karate. All the instructors here are fantastic and everyone is close. I still train here today!"
"I may admit this was a wonderful place for four years where all types of people were most patiently taught by a gifted man, Jack; however, things have changed dramatically. I write in bitterness, I admit. I have lost the dojo as as a 'normal' star player did not like me. It helped tremendously that he paid, whereas, at this time I could not. Howbeit, I have severe handicaps that my sensei worked with. Now, the Dojo is like any other place. 'Normal' people only. This hurts deeply that I have been swept away even though I was loyal. Words written to me say otherwise but the meat of it was this person was good, did not like me, whereas I had so many mental and physical problems. I will say, I have Bipolar II disease, PTSD, and great pain walking. The Dojo has always been unique in that it welcomed all. How sad."
