"The anesthesiologist was late. When we spoke to him about the issues I have with anesthesia, he dismissed these and proceeded to tell me how awesome he was. Every time he talked he made me more and more uncomfortable. It was clear he was not going to take my previous history with anesthesia seriously because according to him, he was so much better than every other anesthesiologist in the area. I woke up incredibly sick, hacking and dry heaving for hours. When my husband and I finally demanded to leave (because I couldn't meet their requirement of eating) the anesthesiologist came to talk to us again. Tried to tell me it was all in my head because he did a better job that anyone else possibly could. Since I had surgery a month ago, and that anesthesiologist helped me wake up with zero issues I know this is not true. About an hour after I got home, I developed hives. Checked with my surgeon to make sure I could take Benadryl. Apparently my surgeon told the anesthesiologist, because he called the next day to inform me that he had done nothing wrong, and that I have a type 3 hypersensitivity. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this center and I will be advising people to avoid this center as well."
