"They don't care if they see you or not. Tha answering machine that is supposed to take your appointment doesn't operate and just makes clicking and whirring sounds and when you speak to the personal above the problem they just laugh at me and don't care about anyone's health. Just money grubbers from hell"
"The drs here ! They listen and help .. i saw dr pathula and Rhonda excellent !! they will call back same day if you have questions .. I went thru alot ill before I got sent here, so happy to have some drs that listen and do the necessary to find the issues ..I wouldn't wanna go anywhere else .."
"Care has really gone downhill the last few years. My mother goes here as well and has had to see multiple doctors because of so many issues with care. Rare to see the actual doctor. Hard to get anyone on the phone sometimes. 99% of the appointments are with nurses. Non-stop problems getting my medications filled. Problems getting insurance to pay for prescriptions because of the amount yet CVM continually want expensive procedures done just for "monitoring" purposes. Continually putting me in a very precarious position with my insurance. They have zero consideration for those who have to be continually worried about their insurance refusing to cover meds, procedures, etc."
"I have always loved CVM and my doctor until recently. The last few years I have been appointed to nurse practitioners and rarely see my physician. I finally saw him this last time and he spent literally only about 5 minutes with me. I had a heart 20 years ago, a stent, a partially blocked artery, a heart murmur, and high inherited cholesterol. He had me breathe one time and listened to my heart for less than 3 seconds. When I asked him how my murmur sounded, since this is what caused my dad's death, he didn't tell me instead replying I had a second one now. He was out the door before I could ask any questions. I found out my next appointment is in December with a new nurse practitioner I have never seen before. I don't consider this quality care."
"Showed up for my first appointment in six months to find out that I had apparently been rescheduled without my knowledge (or so much as a phone call) to an arbitrary date. They said they sent a letter (which I never got). I make my appointments six months in advance to coordinate between this local care team and my cardiologist in Chicago. Now I’m going in for surgery without having seen Dr. Puri or talking to him about it - so that’s great. I rearranged my life to be here today and when I expressed displeasure at this scheduling travesty I was told “That’s just the way it goes.” When I asked why I didn’t receive a phone call I was met with more of the same. If you plan ahead, and try to be a responsible patient by not waiting until the last minute, woe is you. Extremely unhappy with the situation this morning."
