"The room had a nice temp, but the heater is aside your bed, noisy quite a bit. Anyway as it was a quick nap stop. Room was clean and warm. Bed is ok, pillows too high for me. A big smell of smoke was present all the time, combined with a not enough deodorant smell, but still a bad smoke smell. Front desk not so nice, it was 24 degrees outside while I checked in at 5 o'clock. Lady on desk didn't even bother to open the door for me, she picked the money and ID through a small window while I was freezing outside. Price was higher than the average motels around the place. My experience was not so good."

"the front desk person was terrible and rude! he was screaming at me for trying to call someone who was awake. he asked me why i kept calling when i only called once. so rude and unprofessional i was just trying to contact my mother. terrible terrible terrible"

"While this place does not have all the glitz and glamour from the outside,this place is a textbook definition of don't judge a book by its cover.there's no fooling around that goes on at this place. The owner is very watchful and very persistent that the rules always be followed. I don't think I've spent the night in a motel or hotel where I had that peaceful a night sleep.there are no people in and out of rooms all night long, there were no voices being heard right outside the door, and all of the guess that I did run into were extraordinarily polite."

"A modest but clean and well-run place; nothing fancy, but convenient to the freeway and nearby restaurants and attractions in the Arlington Heights area. The owner went out of his way to help me out after my original reservation at another hotel got messed up and and I was stranded, with no rooms open literally anywhere. You may enjoy the mid-century-modern styling of the architecture, don't let the period look dissuade you. Large bed, clean linens and bathroom, mini fridge, TV - really, all you need for a basic place to sleep. Very reasonable rates, even cheaper than my original choice. Would book again if in that area."
