"What a fantastic experience for a little weekend get-away! The room was clean, cozy, spacious, and modern. The amenities in the room are wonderful for our late night snack cravings and relaxation time! The service was OUTSTANDING! From the moment we checked in we felt well taken care of. The welcome bag with the welcome letter from the General Manager, Jared Horn, the delicious brownies, and complimentary waters was a nice extra touch and completely unexpected! The hot breakfast next to the cozy fireplace was delicious and perfect for such a cold winter morning! I highly recommend Homewood Suites Aurora/Naperville for not only the beautiful and comfortable hotel but the amazing service from Jared & his staff! We will be back again!"
"I stayed in a 2 Bed-2 Bath suite for four nights, and had a great experience. My room was clean and well-prepared, and all the staff I interacted with were professional and kind. Breakfast was above average for hotel breakfast, and the selection was different every day I was there. The drive to downtown Aurora was a bit long, but considering all the positives, this was a five-star experience."
"I've had the absolute joy of calling this place home for the past six months, thanks to my work schedule. The warmth and friendliness of the staff have been nothing short of impressive. Every day was punctuated by their friendly greetings and well-wishes, and I can't express enough gratitude for their kindness. It was like returning to a spotless, comfy apartment each evening, as opposed to a generic hotel room. Sure, there was the odd noise here and there, but nothing that could be classified as a "wild party next door." Now, let's talk about the orange juice. This stuff was less "freshly squeezed sunshine" and more "orange-tinged water." I mean, seriously, at this point it's so watered down it could pass as a new health drink - "Hydro Orange: the subtlest hint of citrus in your hydration routine!" All kidding aside, if my travels ever bring me back to this neck of the woods, I'll definitely swing by, if only to check if they've given the OJ the makeover it deserves."
"The hotel overcharged us for the room. We had a confirmation with a night by night charge, but they charged us more for 3 of our 4 nights. I called the front desk guy immediately after I noticed this, and he said he would look into it and fix it. He also agreed that he would call me back (and I agreed to send him my confirmation). So, I emailed him to the address he gave me our Hilton confirmation email for the room rate. But, I never heard back from him, never. So after I got home, I called Hilton's main customer service number, and they saw the discrepancy I described and opened a case. They said it would be 3 days for a refund. So, At 3 days I called them and they said a refund had been issued. But guess what it never showed up, ever. So, I disputed the difference with my Credit Card company, which hopefully will get some satisfaction. One other note, while the breakfast was great to have, generally many of the hot items weren't that great, I would give the breakfast 3 stars. Great that they have it, but not terribly good. Regarding the rooms, we stayed in a King suite which looks nice in the pictures, and it was generally pretty clean upon arrival, But the reality is a bed a couple of feet away (no door) from the bathroom sink - so no sleeping through your partner getting up. They also had a large standup shower (no tub) which had a curved front sliding glass. This seemed nice at first, but when we used it, it leaked all over the bathroom, and we had to sop up the water. I went down to the front desk and told them of the problem and when we would be out of the room so they could look at the shower and get it fixed so that it wouldn't leak - and they agreed to do that. Well, they never looked at or fixed the leaking shower, so we spent a lot of time futzing with it and sopping up water during our 4 night stay. We will NEVER stay at this hotel again"
