"I was warmly welcomed by the owner, she was kind, friendly, and accommodating. The room was comfortable, I slept through the night and woke up very rested. The location is great, in a small town, with a restaurant, Walgreens, DQ, and small grocery store in the immediate area, easily walkable. The property is clean, safe, and managed well. I prefer these old fashioned lodges, family owned, usually well priced, and with a homey feel. Yes they are older, perhaps not as updated, but I am always comfortable and safe."

"Housekeepers were nice but owner is rude and invasive. He's shady and tried to scam a friend staying with us by saying they could only pay with cash when we ourselves paid with card the same day. Rooms were clean and the wifi is decent."

"I traveled to Kewanee to visit my husband who is working in the area. I've been here a few times and always stay at this motel. The manager, Ken, is always very friendly and goes out of his way to make me feel at home. The rooms are a bit dated but always clean. I've read some reviews that others have left about shady people however I don't agree with those negative comments and neither does my husband. My husband stays at this motel for months at a time at least 3 to 4 times a year. We've never had any issues with service or patrons. I would recommend this place."

"Spacious room, with friendly staff. Grocery store and restaurant across from parking lot is a plus. They checked to see if I needed more towels, the garbage taken out and if I needed the bed made. I am a smoker, so I won't complain about the smokie smell of the room. The water is hot on demand. Great stay for a reasonable price!!"
