"I had a wonderful experience staying here a couple of years ago when I visited Nauvoo, Illinois. Although this is a cheaper hotel, you really get more than your money's worth. The rooms are very spacious with a refrigerator. The hotel is also in a quiet location (although I had to walk a distance from the train station). Finally, the customer service was also great, as there was no hassle in getting a room."

"If you are looking for a cheap place to sleep, comfortable mattresses, clean rooms and nice managers. This is the right place. Breakfast is cold cereal. This is a classic motel, so all rooms have separate entrances. It’s old and has definitely seen better days. No frills. But clean and comfortable and cheap."

"Great owner. Speaks little English but is cooperative in helping you get a room and quick to help you when in need. We thought we could have a dog, but when we went to leave on check out day the owner saw our dog and chided us for having her. We had paid a deposit and he said we would only get half of it but once he saw the room was still in great shape, he thoughtfully gave us the whole $40 deposit. Cleaning staff is fun and personable. Very very decent pricing and very spacious rooms! Very impressed."

"The price was right. Really comfy bed! Nice to have a fridge with freezer and a microwave. Very convenient for shopping at Dollar tree and Dollar General. Quiet place. Was nice to park by door to room for unloading and loading luggage. My only suggestion would be to install a shelf with a bar for hanging clothes and install a hook on bathroom door for hanging robes, etc. I would stay again."
